My very fit trainer looked out the window this morning and said “look at her great calves”,  as I dragged myself over to see the calves he was talking about, I thought to myself, “great another skinny tall woman”.  But I was so pleasantly surprised...she had beautiful big calves. This season I feel like everyone is paying attention to bigger calves.  Since the stretch boot it has been difficult for almost all women to find the right fitting boot, but  we have several boots in with adjustable leg shafts.  I think the best ones are the ones with a neoprene type material integrated with leather.  They not only give a two tone effect, but are also accommodating for all sizes of calves. There is a common frustration when it comes to fitting tall boots.  We feel your pain and know it well.  We see tall women with skinny calves and short women with large calves and everything in between.  The shoe industry wrongly believes that if you have long feet you have big calves and small feet mean skinny calves...this could not be further from the truth.  One thing we are sure of is keep trying!  We are happy to bring you out as many pairs as you would like in order to ensure you get the right and best fit for your legs.  If you can sneak away on a weekday morning, that is the best time to put us to the test and have the store, staff and mirrors all to yourself!!!  A tip here...the sales girls are very familiar with the various fits of different boots.  Always ask.  They watch everything get tried on over and over again...they are your best resource for finding the right boot. Here are some suggestions...
