Our Story
Meet Our Founder
In 1998, recent Queen’s University graduate, Chloe Raincock, noticed a gap in the city’s shoe offerings. She envisioned a destination that brought exciting, hard-to-find styles to her community; something different, something people would fall in love with. Guided by instinct and a passion for shoes passed down from her grandmother, Chloe set out to build a store where fabulous shoes and personal service would always come first.
The Idea
Seeing a need for stylish shoes in Kingston, Chloe asked herself how she could make an impact.
Kingston Beginnings
Our very first location opens on Kingston’s beloved Princess St — where the heart and soul of heel boy starts to grow.
Toronto Expansion
Our community love helps us expand to Toronto’s vibrant West Queen West neighbourhood — connecting with even more shoe lovers.
Going Global
With the launch of our online store and worldwide shipping, heel boy goes international!
