Toronto Lights Festival
The Toronto Light Festival offers a visual journey and a playful adventure throughout the walking streets of the Distillery District. During the cold, dark days of winter, The Toronto Light Festival gives visitors a reason to bundle up, get outside and celebrate the season, creativity and life in the big city. The festival, now in its 4th year, exhibits local and international light artists. Artworks are curated to educate, warm hearts, inspire and put a smile on visitors faces. This event is free to attend and runs until the 1st of March!
Snowflakes & Starlight
Take your date and enjoy fireworks at the Family Day Weekend event organised by the town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. There will be ice sculptures, stilt walking, food, and a spectacular fireworks display! This free event will take place on Saturday February 15th from 6 to 8 pm at Memorial Park in Stouffville!
Toronto Animation Arts Festival International
Come in from the cold and toast your body and mind to the warm glow of cartoons! Toronto’s animation festival brings you eye-popping shorts and features from around the world. Tickets are $12 each for this event taking place from February 14th to 16th at Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema.
Mac and Cheese Festival
Recently featured on the Food Network, the festival and its food imaginers continue to push the boundaries of creativity to deliver delicious food experiences. There are between 40 to 50 variations of mac and cheese amongst the vendors along with plenty of wine, cocktails, margaritas and craft beer! Love mac and cheese? Get to Small Arms Inspection building in Mississauga from February 14th to the 16th. Tickets $6 - $20.

Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show: Valentine’s Day Edition
Comedy Nuggets presents the Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show for an amazing night of laughs! Every month Luke Lynndale assembles an amazing lineup by inviting three headliners. The show is always hilarious, thought provoking, and silly. On February 14th, Comedy Nuggets presents a special edition of Best Damn Stand-Up Comedy Show for Valentine's day. Join the fun at 8 pm at The Social Capital Theatre on the second floor.
Love Buds A Valentine’s Day Cannabis Comedy Show
Come down to Love Buds: A Valentine’s Day Cannabis Comedy Show and enjoy a night of food, drinks and laughs with that special someone – or your best buds! Presented by the Cannabis Comedy Festival at the LIThuanian House. Featuring some of Toronto’s top comics and headlined by Nick Reynoldson. Dinner and show tickets are also available at this 19+ event. The event takes place at 1573 Bloor St W from 8 – 10 pm, tickets start at $15!
Paint Nite: A Valentine Stroll
Join Paint Nite with Toronto's very first artist owned - artist run team as they get creative in the heart of the city. Drink. Paint. Connect. Looking for something novel to do with friends to create new memories and share a few laughs over a cocktail or two at your local bistro? Their professional artist will guide you, step-by-step, from a blank canvas to a final unique masterpiece in about two hours. No matter whether you bring your friends or come by yourself, you can bet that you will meet plenty of other fun-seeking people from all over the city! Tickets are $40 for this event taking place at The Rhino on Queen St. W from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.
GeekFest
Join the 5th Annual GeekFest in Toronto – a one-day marathon of films, docs and talks on things geeks love. And, maybe, a chance to meet (and fall for) a fellow geek. Interactive crafts, prizes, giveaways and Valentine-themed snacks are included! The event takes place at Chez BonBon from 5:30 to 11 pm with tickets ranging from $12 to $22.

Valentine’s Day Murder Mystery
Spend Valentine’s Day evening with some of the most successful master sleuths of all time at the stylish Chelsea Hotel, for a grand birthday celebration for Toronto’s most successful theatre magnate, Ambrose Tall. join the fun and see if you can help Toronto Constabulary’s Detective Merdoch piece together the clues and evidence and solve a murder case. The action begins when you notice some colourful characters enter the room. Then, someone you’ve just met dies... or a body is discovered. A detective leads the investigation. The suspects are spread throughout the room, sitting right at the tables with you. So, you get to participate and see if you can solve the whodunit?! The Friday event takes place from 6:30 to 9:45 pm, and tickets range from $123 to $128.

Impress your “Sole Mate” with an unforgettable evening at the Bata Shoe Museum. Join the BSM for a Valentine’s Day inspired tour filled with love, laughter and many Instagrammable moments. The event takes place from 7 to 8 pm with tickets at $14 per person at the Bloor St W location.

Skin Tight Outta Sight Rebel Burlesque Presents: TTYL Valentine – Love Is in the AI. Are you a robot? The year is 2069 and the world is a future retro nightmare. Looks can be deceiving and intimacy is dead but don’t worry, there’s an app for that! Don’t have a Valentine for this most fake of occasions? Don’t worry, Skin Tight Outta Sight will make one for you, and they promise to self-destruct before they develop feelings! The event will be held on the 15th of February from 7 to 10 pm at Revival Bar! Tickets start at $25.
Cheese Cave Event
On February 15th, join TOCA Bistro at the Ritz Carlton for a special Valentine's day cheese & wine event. Explore their giant cave filled with cheese complete with samples and paired wines. The event is $100 per person and starts at 3 pm at their Wellington St. W location!
